FSEM Launches National Campaign: Moving Medicine for Everybody

By 22 Sep, 2026 | 3 min read

FSEM launches a national campaign to showcase the Moving Medicine for Everybody website – a trusted, evidence-based resource to help people with Long-Term Conditions move more with confidence.

The platform brings together trusted, evidence-based guidance for people living with Long-Term Health Conditions, helping them to understand what movement may be right for them, build confidence, and take practical first steps towards being more active. It covers 16 conditions and a range of symptoms and has been developed with healthcare professionals, physical activity specialists, charities, partner organisations, and people living with Long-Term Conditions themselves.

The campaign will showcase the Moving Medicine for Everybody website, which sits alongside our well-established Moving Medicine website, already well used by healthcare professionals. Our ambition is to highlight the Moving Medicine for Everybody website to those who it will benefit most.

For years, we have heard the same concerns from people living with long-term health conditions:

“Is it safe for me to be active?”
“Will movement make my symptoms worse?”
“Where do I start?”

Too often, people struggle to find trusted, condition-specific information that answers those questions. Fear of aggravating symptoms remains one of the biggest barriers to becoming more active, and many people living with long-term conditions are not achieving recommended levels of physical activity.

That is why we’ve launched Moving Medicine for Everybody

Every post, mention, and recommendation helps more people discover trusted guidance and support.

Moving Medicine has always been driven by partnership. Today’s launch to the general public is another step towards our shared ambition of making movement a normal, valuable, and accessible part of healthcare and everyday life.
