Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
At the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM), we are committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across the Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) community. Our vision is to create a specialty that is welcoming, representative, and inclusive, where everyone feels valued and empowered to thrive. At the heart of this vision is a shared commitment to respect, support, and empower, a call to action to build an inclusive SEM community where equity and diversity are embedded and championed.
We believe that meaningful change begins with listening, learning, and acting. Through ongoing research, engagement, and collaboration, we aim to identify and address barriers to inclusion and ensure that our policies and practices reflect the diverse voices within our field.
