Sport Duty of Care Review – Call for Evidence
The Government has launched an open consultation and call for evidence for a review into the sport sector’s duty of care lead by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson. The Sport Duty of Care Review is calling for the views of both those working in sport and the public on what works well and how current systems could be improved in elite and grass roots sport.
The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) UK will be responding and is inviting its Members and Fellows to respond.
The review includes the prevention and management of brain injuries, catastrophic injuries and other medical issues, mental health support and the safe guarding of young people and adults.
- Responding to the consultation involves 17 questions
- Each response should be no longer than 300 words
- The deadline for responding is 23 May 2016 at 11.45pm
