Medical Record Keeping

The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK has issued a statement on record keeping for all doctors working in sport:
Doctors giving medical advice and treatment at any level of sport are required, under the GMC’s Good Medical Practice 2013, to keep medical records. These records must be made at the time of the event or as soon as possible after the event.
