There are some years and some occasions you just don't want to miss
Sport & Exercise Medicine – Bringing us all together
This year’s BASEM/FSEM (UK) joint Annual Conference Dinner, held in Association with Bath University and the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport Exercise and Osteoarthritis, will be held in the beautiful Bath Assembly rooms Ballroom on Thursday 12 October.
Designed by John Wood the Younger in 1769, the purpose of the Bath Assembly Rooms was to be a place for dancing and music. When they were completed in 1771 they were described as 'the most noble and elegant of any in the kingdom'.
We can’t promise an elegant’ tea dance but we can promise a really good evening of bon homie conversation and cheer.
This year BASEM celebrates its 65th anniversary, the FSEM (UK) is now in its 11th year and the University of Bath is marking its 50th birthday. All three organisations are coming together to deliver a packed programme of Sport and Exercise Medicine education and to mark the occassion with delegates, speakers and colleagues.
These are thriving times for Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) in the UK. Find out more at http://www.basem.co.uk/education/basemfsem-annual-conference-2017/basemfsem-annual-conference-2017.html
