GMC National Training Survey
The GMC National Training Survey (NTS) for 2020 is now live. After initially postponing the annual survey of trainees and trainers, the GMC has launched a shorter, targeted version of the survey. It includes questions on doctors’ experiences of the COVID 19 pandemic, as well as the usual questions on clinical supervision, wellbeing and workload.
The NTS is a core part of the GMC’s work to monitor and report on the quality of postgraduate medical education and training in the UK. Participation is voluntary, but the GMC are keen to hear from as many trainees and trainers in different specialties as possible.
This year’s survey is formatted to work on mobile devices as well as laptops and desktop computers, and is available on the GMC website.
The 2020 GMC National Training Survey is open from Wednesday 22 July to Wednesday 12 August.
