Dr Natasha JonesDr Natasha Jones has been elected to serve as the next President of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (UK).

Dr Jones will become the first female President in the Faculty’s 15-year history when she takes up office in December. Until then, she will serve as President-elect and work alongside the current President to further the interests of the Faculty and its membership.

“It is a tremendous honour to be elected President of the Faculty. I am looking forward to continuing our journey towards becoming an independent college by building and strengthening our partnerships across the specialty and within the NHS. Together I believe we can take the next steps towards presenting a unified voice for SEM,” said Dr Jones.

“Dr Jones has already made many important contributions to the Faculty both as Vice-President and as clinical lead for Moving Medicine. I have no doubt that both the Faculty and our specialty will continue to make great strides under her leadership.”
