Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM)
One of the main roles of the Faculty is overseeing standards and education in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Here you will find information and links to available qualifications and courses in SEM.
FSEM Membership Exam
Doctors who wish to become a Fellow or Member of the Faculty must pass parts 1 and 2 of the FSEM Membership Examination.
Please note an MSc course in SEM is not equivalent to the FSEM Membership Examination and possession of an MSc does not indicate that a Doctor is sufficiently trained for the GMC Specialist Register.

|Sports Pre Hospital Immediate Care (endorsed courses)||FPHC||Safely managing the potentially critically injured athlete on the field of play is a key skill for pitch side doctors. All medical indemnity providers require doctors who provide clinical services at sports events or matches to be appropriately trained and experienced in pre- hospital immediate care.||A list of courses|
